Who will be teaching you?
Adam Lowder has over 18 years of professional acting experience most of which were spent working in New York City where he acted in
over 70 projects in film, television, and theatre.
Adam continues to act in projects around the world and in addition to teaching, Adam founded Anytown Pictures for which he writes, directs, and produces independent feature films.

The Repetition Exercise: designed by Sanford Meisner as a way to get you out of your head and into the moment by training your instincts to drive your acting.
The Door and Activity: an exercise to practice the the reality of doing which is the foundation of truthful acting. This exercise breaks down what acting is at its basis and helps provide a way to practice this principle repeatedly.
Improvisation: the ability for actors to stay moment-to-moment before they receive a script.
Emotional Preparation: the practice of being emotionally full for the first moment of a scene.
Script Analysis: a thorough way to properly identify the facts of a script.
Particularization: a way of relating yourself to an imaginary situation.
Speeches: master monologues whilst maintaining foundational acting principles.
Fantasy: a tool for effectively activating one’s imagination.
Impediments: the practice of embodying that which impedes a character’s behavior.
Characterization: the physical process of embodying how a character uniquely behaves.
Scene Work: the application of the above tools within scenes from plays of the student’s choice.
